HOW
TO GET THERE
|

The Museum
can be reached by taking exit 27 on the N4 Witbank / Pretoria
highway.
Then turn right onto the R104 Silverton / Bronkhorstspruit
Road. Travel for 3 km and turn left at the big signboard.
Travel down the tree-lined avenue and follow the signs to
the parking area.

From the
moment you arrive, history becomes something you can see,
smell, feel and taste. Our agricultural history is presented
in a unique manner that will appeal to all family members.

OLD
FARMYARD
|
|
Indigenous,
domesticated farm animals such as Nguni cattle and Painted
Persian sheep are kept on the old historic farmyard.

HOUSE
MUSEUMS
|
|
Visit
the 1880 house museum, blacksmith's shop and wagon shed.
Kindly book well in advance for cultural demonstration
programmes.

EXHIBITION

The development
of agriculture, large collections of farming implements and
Animal drawn vehicles and tractors from the past are exhibited

The Museum
distills its own mampoer. Don't miss the mampoer and liqueurs
on sale.

EDUCATIONAL
PROGRAMMES

Farm experiences
for learners are offered through hands-on curriculum based
programmes for Grade R to Grade 3 & Grade 4 to Grade 6.
& Senior Phase.
New RNCS programmes: These include skills, knowledge, values
and attitudes.
Programmes are offered in English or Afrikaans.
